Jet Pipe Servovalves
Overview
Atchley Controls was founded by Raymond D.
Atchey who pioneered the development of "Jet Pipe"
servovalves. With Moog's 1998 acquisition of
Raytheon Aircraft's Montek Division, Moog's
Industrial Controls Division is now responsible for
the Atchley Controls® product line.
Valve Construction:
A Two Stage Flow Control Proportional Valve with
a Jet Pipe Pilot Stage. The first stage includes the
torque motor, projector jet and receiver, the second
stage body includes the spool and sleeve assembly.
Typical Applications:
Machine Tools, Wood Processing, Robotics,
Animation
