 With
a number of hydraulic flight simulators in
use, many have logged numerous hours of
service and will require refurbishment in
the near future. Most of these incorporate
Moog servo valves and MTS Temposonics
position feedback transducers. Flow Dynamics
and Automation are authorized distributors
for both of these key components of a flight
simulator axis. With engineering input from
both suppliers, we can repair and/or replace
these key components during the
repair/refurbishment process. In both cases
these manufactures can provide updated
versions of their components if replacement
is required. In the event hardware parts for
the cylinder itself are required, we can
reproduce virtually any cylinder parts as
required in our machine shop. The end result
is a like new actuator that carries a like
new warranty that carries additional a two
year “same as new” warranty from Moog and a
one year “same as new warranty” from MTS.
